Spectro-UV Sanitizing Cabinet
Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) is a disinfection method that uses short-wavelength ultraviolet (ultraviolet C or UVC) light to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions. Kills microorganisms and germs including viruses, bacteria, and mold spores.
*UVGI Sanitizing Cabinets have not been tested yet on the COVID-19 Coronavirus. They have been laboratory tested against common household bacteria and other common viruses. UV-C is a suggested method of sanitizing from the CDC, especially for Filtering Facepiece Respirators (FFRs). Learn more about COVID-19 and prevention of its spread from the CDC and WHO.
UVGI Sanitizing Cabinets have not been tested yet on the COVID-19 Coronavirus. They have been laboratory tested against common household bacteria and other common viruses. The degradation of material properties during decontamination is not known, so decontamination of FFRs should only be used in crisis cases.
