Parker Research Magnetic Weight Test Bar
The TB-10 magnetic weight lift test bar is 10 lbs; allowing for the accurate calibration and certification of inspection yokes. This follows paragraph 7.4.4. of the Standard Practice for Magnetic Particle Testing (ASTM-E1444)
Each bar is stamped with it's weight and is traceable to NIST.

Instructions
Place the yoke les on the test bar at the recommended spacing (see below table). In the AC mode, energize the yoke and lift test bar (10 lb.). For the DC lift test (30 - 50 lb.) 3 to 5 bars must be bolted together through the hole located in the center of each bar. With the yoke set in the DC mode follow the same prodcedure as described above.

TB10-SP Magnetic Weight Lift and Defect Test Bar
Not only does the TB10-SP Magnetic Weight Lift and Defect Test Bar provide for the verification of the 10 lb. AC weight lift calibration test, but it's also certified and traceable to NIST standards. In addition, the reverse side of the test bar contains artificial defects; allowing the user to demonstrate that indications are being found and verified.
