Magnaflux Magnetic Test Bar

This test bar contains coarse and fine surface and subsurface defects in both directions; allowing the user to examine magnetizing currents for both circular and longitudinal magnetization.  There are multiple subsurface defects at progressive depths to provide confirmation of HWDC and FWDC field penetration.  All of it's machined flaws are filled with epoxy to prevent magnetic particles from becoming trapped within the test bar.  It also meets or exceeds most industrial and military standards for artificial test specimens and can be used with wet bench equipment, power packs, or magnetic yokes.
